A Fatal Case of Eclampsia Associated with Intensive Cerebral Hæmorrhage at the 36th Week of Pregnancy

Ti-ie following case is of interest, as it presents severe lesions which are somewhat different in character from those usually found in eclampsia. The patient, who was a nullipara, aged 27, was admitted to the Royal Maternity and Simpson Memorial Hospital during the thirtysixth week of pregnancy. Moderate albuminuria of pregnancy had developed fourteen days before admission. This was treated unsuccessfully at home. There was no oedema.
